Three years ago, I discovered this website while scanning the forums on Student Doctor's MCAT forum. At the time, I was just another paranoid pre-med student freaking out about the idea of preparing for the MCAT exam. It's safe to assume that I knew absolutely nothing about the science sections of the exam. Somehow while taking these courses in college, I managed to do really well in most of my classes while understanding very little. I mean seriously, it not even exaggerating here. How many people can openly admit they didn't know what a vector was? Yeah, it was bad. I had a few hand-me down books a friend had given me from a Princeton Review class he took. I flipped the first few pages and came across the "Big Five" -- and slammed the book shut. I paniced and immediately went online in hopes of finding some alternative resource. For the love of God, I could not understand the concepts on my own. And then a miracle happened. I found Chad. He's like the Jesus of Science. All jokes aside though, this guy is truly incredible. I mean just to give you guys an example, those kinematics equations we all have to know Chad was able to explain in a way that would could easily understand. Very quickly after watching his videos, I was not only able to solve kinematics problems with breeze, but do them easily in my head with very little thought. It's been three years since I've taken the MCAT and until this day, I still remember those basic concepts just because he explained them so well! Everything from Organic, to General Chemistry, Physics ...and now apparently Biology (which was not offered at the time I watched his videos), I promise you guys this an investment worth taking. Chad does a phenomenal job at teaching. I actually looked forward to watching his videos every day because he teaches it in a way that's entertaining! In between lessons, he'll throw a valuable joke or two to help you remember various concepts which is extremely helpful considering how much we have to know for this damn test. I went from scoring an average 6-7 on the science sections to a consistent 12-13 on practice exams. On the actual exam, I scored a 30N (13 PS, 5VR, 12 BS). Ignoring the Verbal score for a moment, I'm thoroughly impressed with my score and I attribute that success to Chad. As a side note here, I had a variety of materials: TPRH Set, TBR Set, and the EK Set. Honestly, you'll never really have time to go through all of these materials (for those of you convincing yourself you will, seriously snap out of it and come back to reality). What I did was used a little bit of SN2ed's schedule on Student Doctor (which is a little bit over the top to be honest), but whenever I'd learn new topics, I'd watch one of Chad's videos to help tie it all together. Watch the videos AFTER you read because it'll clarify things you perhaps misread or didn't understand correctly the first time around. And most importantly guys, make sure you emphasize most of your time practicing! I cannot stress this enough. I think a lot of people have the misconception that learning content is the way to go but that's absolutely not true. Content is important of course, but as long as you know the basics (essentially everything Chad covers in his videos), that's absolutely all you need to do the passages / solve problems. As you approach your exam date, you will forget some stuff, but if you spend most of your time solving problems as opposed to route memorization, it'll come back to you naturally! I'm sorry this is so lengthy but I felt it was important for me to share this with you all :) Best of luck everyone :) Billy

The first time I took this test, I scored a 15 in both Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. After watching Chad's videos, I understood every concept and made the DAT so much easier. Thank you Chad!

chad helped me go from an 18 in both GC and OC to a 21 and 24, respectively. I can't thank him enough for making chemistry so easy to understand.
