Chad's Videos has been essential in helping me to prepare for the DAT. It's been a few years since i've had a general chemistry or organic chemistry class and even then, the concepts weren't as clear to me as Chad has been. He makes everything easy to understand and as simple as they need to be. He definitely knows how to teach effectively, which I believe is extremely important! I also love that he has quizzes available after each video to help make sure you are grasping the material, as well as the explanations on how you get the correct answer. I wish I had known about these videos before because they would have helped me so much in undergrad. I also would have saved a lot of money because I took a Kaplan review course for the DAT and I have realized unfortunately, it wasn't worth it. You get the best with Chad for a fraction of the price and EVERYTHING you need to know! I'll be taking the DAT this summer and I already have more confidence being 1/3 of the way through his videos than I did after taking the entire Kaplan course.
Chad's Videos are imperative to General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry review. Before I started using his videos I felt lost and hopeless trying to review everything on my own. His videos motivated me to study smarter and I recommend them to anyone studying for the DAT or MCAT.
I bought two sets of MCAT review books before finding these videos and wanted to bang my head on my desk. I would spend an hour or more reading a chapter and then not feel like they equipped me to answer any of the chapter review questions. I was fatalistically whining to my husband one night, and he found me these videos. It honestly feels like the clouds have parted. Chad explains things so efficiently and easily. It's like with every concept I'm left asking, "why did I ever think this was hard?" Now I actually look forward to studying for the MCAT because it's not a huge waste of time and money. Thank you SO much!!!
Dude is amazing. I don't know how he does it, but God (or whatever deity, higher power, Greek Gods you believe in) has given this man the ability to break down any concept into understandable terms. If there was a prophet of science, this man would be it. Not only is he effective in illuminating the concept, he relates it to other related concepts and gives you that AHA moment. I hadn't been in school for 10 years, hadn't taken Biochem, or Org II, and I watched Chad's videos for the MCAT. Scored in the 90% percentile based on what I learned. Why? Because he doesn't waste your time on things that won't be tested. Obviously, you have some work to do as a student b/c just watching his videos won't make you a superstar, but he does makes it easier to grasp. I'm also one of those people who don't spend money on the web, but this is seriously the best investment. Invest $200 (or whatever it costs) now, so that you don't have to waste a year retaking a class, an MCAT, or whatever else "opportunity cost" will hit you if you don't do it right the first time. Your investment will be worth it, and you won't regret it. I recommend him to everyone I know. I just hope there is a "Chad" for med school because it's about to get real in August.
